…then Eco Encore has an opportunity for you! We are a 7 year old, self-sustaining, social entrepreneurial venture that was an early pioneer in leveraging the power of the internet to solve humanities challenges. We promote reuse and recycling of used media - books, DVD’s, software, etc - by collecting donations and reselling these items via an online marketplace. This activity keeps tons of “stuff” out of the landfill, funds our operation and seeks to create a profit that can be invested back into local environmental causes.
While we have a phenomenal staff, a well run operation, a solid online presence and a profitable business model, we are looking for new board members to help take us to the next level. If you have a background in Accounting/Finance, Marketing, PR, Sales, IT (or just about anything else, really!) then we would love to talk to you. In addition to contributing your specific expertise to our efforts, you will have the opportunity to develop the strategy that drives our future success. Do we identify ways to scale what we’re currently doing, or do we review our strengths and consider pivoting our focus in to a new market? Do we stay local or look to replicate on a national scale? If you are energized by these kinds of conversations and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to help execute on a plan, then you are exactly the kind of person we are hoping will join us.
