Supporting Foundations and Friends

These local organizations and institutions help us pursue our mission, and provide us with the grant funding that supports our operations and helps us grow.

The Mountaineers collect Eco Encore donations at their office in Lower Queen Anne, and they write about us in various publications that reach their membership. They are celebrating their 100th Anniversary this year.

This is how we get around! Flexcar has generously waived our membership fees, and we use their fleet to haul stuff around the city. Contemplating a Flexcar membership? Tell them Eco Encore sent you, and they'll give us free driving credits!

Re StoreThe Re-Store

The Re-Store in Ballard is the most popular place in Seattle for dropping donations - we have to empty the bin twice a month on average.

seattlefoundationThe Seattle Foundation

This is the first year that Eco Encore has received support from the Seattle Foundation; their grant of general operating funds has helped us with our relocation and much more.

The Russell Family FoundationThe Russell Family Foundation

We are thrilled for the continuing support of the Russell Family Foundation - this is the third year in a row that they have chosen to donate to Eco Encore. The general operating fund grant is not only helping us settle in to our new home, but is also supporting program development as we strive to enhance partnerships with other environmental nonprofits and local academic institutions.
